Oct 05, 2014 I hope this works, I downloaded all the army men games from one site and only RTS works, I seriously hope this works and doesn;t ask for a bloody CD and let me play against Computer in multiplayer, also Old Pc Gaming do you know where I can find the rest of the Army Men Games on Windows like Army Men 2, Army Men World War an Air Tactics, Air Assault and Sarges Heroes for. Army Men: World War is one of the bug-giest, unpolished games I've ever played. Polygons disappear, you get stuck on things, the Al is either dead-on accurate or as dumb as plastic, and the multiplayer is the antithesis of fun (it's often far too dark, pointless and lacks the innovation found in Army Men 3D's multiplayer mode).

The idea of playing with plastic soldiers on a computer screen turned out to be a bull's eye. The series Army Men, launched in 1998, became a hit almost immediately. Released only two years later, the game Army Men: World War is chronologically the eighth installment of the series created by 3DO Company.
In the case of RTS, whose heroes are toy soldiers, it is difficult to find a complex and multithreaded story. Also the plastic world of the series Army Men has never been described in detail, so the meaning of many of its elements should be guessed. In Men's Arms: World War the 'greens' united by alliance with the 'blue' oppose Tan's army, which invaded the lands in the west. It is not difficult to guess that the 'greens' are symbolized in the game by the American troops from the Second World War, the 'blue' by the French, and the forces of Tan are the Nazis. These associations are justified inasmuch as most of the 15 missions of the single player mode in Men: World War/i> have names associated with authentic military operations, such as 'One bridge too far away'. The gameplay is based mainly on directing the activities of land units, which can be supported by aviation and artillery. Among the available units, infantry dominates, armed with various weapons - from machine guns, through howitzers, grenades and hand-held rocket launchers to flame throwers and sniper rifles.
Interface AM:WW has not changed much since the first game of the series was released and unfortunately it is not one of the biggest assets of this production. Controlling more numerous troops can be problematic, especially as the artificial intelligence of computer warriors leaves much to be desired. Also the audio-visual setting does not impress. The manufacturer assures that the graphical engine, quality of textures and animations have been improved, but the big difference compared to the previous parts of Arma Men cannot be seen.
The high playability of AM: WW is primarily due to a few well-designed maps, which allow, for example, to carry out a naval landing in the plastic world like the operation 'Overlord'. The game has a multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to play together via LAN or the Internet.
